Henry Robinson is a Jamaican British visual artist based in East Africa. Robinson’s practice operates at the intersection of fashion and documentary photography. Alongside collaborations with partners such as Puma, Spotify, Google, Porticus and Red Cross, Robinson’s work has been featured in the pages of Plantain and Prazzle magazine. He has participated in exhibitions in London, Kingston, and Kampala, including his debut solo exhibition at Afropocene Capsule Gallery. Through his lens, he aims to shed light on the multiplicity of the Black experience, foregrounding its beauty and nuance, and inviting viewers to reflect on the stories that shape it.

He is currently exhibiting ‘Akili ni Nywele’ in Nairobi alongside Mutua Muthaka.

Mutua Matheka is a Kenyan artist and architectural photographer, forged in Kenya and based in Nairobi. His work explores African urbanity, identity, and the emotional landscapes of cities, using photography to move beyond documentation and into deeper cultural and psychological space.

Trained as an architect, his practice is shaped by how the built environment reflects the people who inhabit it. He is particularly interested in the ways African cities hold memory, contradiction, improvisation, and possibility. Through his work, he seeks to visualize these urban spaces with complexity, tenderness, and agency.

He is currently exhibiting ‘Akili ni Nywele’ alongside Henry Robinson.

Philip Koth is a Nairobi-based cultural curator, A&R, and community builder sitting at the intersection of music, fashion, film, and art. As one of the driving forces behind Pesos and LAKAL he works across design, event activation, and creative strategy to build meaningful spaces for artists locally and global.

Kanaiza Onalo is a Kenyan creative strategist, cultural curator and editorial photographer based between Nairobi and London. Her practice sits at the intersection of culture, community building, creative advertising, fashion and visual arts. As co-founder of Matatu Migration and founder of Kanaiza Kanaiza,she works across curation, creative direction and brand strategy, connecting African and black diaspora creative talent with global audiences.

Rosemary Wangari is a Kenyan creative director, fashion designer, stylist, and curator working across fashion, art, film, and cultural programming. She is the co-founder of Matatu Migration, a platform exploring movement, memory, and urban identity, and a creative director at Hope Sews. Her practice is rooted in cross collaboration, visual storytelling, and creating spaces for cultural exchange. Drawing from African and Indigenous culture and archives, she explores how history, memory, and everyday life can be reinterpreted through contemporary visual language.

Angel Thairo works at the intersection of strategy and culture, with a focus on music and the creative economy in Africa. She leads strategic communications at a social impact consulting firm, working across brand, content, and communications strategy. Alongside that, she runs Good Ear, a platform exploring music, culture, and the ideas shaping the music industry in Africa and the diaspora alongside the global landscape. She also co-founded Strangers2Lvrs, a creative community bringing music, fashion, art, and people together through live events and experiences.

Gloria Tergat is a cultural producer, community designer, and creative strategist whose work sits at the intersection of storytelling, culture, and social impact. Through community-led experiences, artist development, international exchange, and creative programming, she designs spaces where people, ideas, and cultures can connect in meaningful ways. Currently, Gloria is the Creative Community Manager at ourppls. Her work spans content production, facilitation, and partnership building, with a growing focus on strengthening creative ecosystems across Africa and beyond. At the heart of Gloria's practice is a belief that meaningful relationships create stronger communities, and that stronger communities create new possibilities.

Monzo is an Electronic and Open Format DJ based in Nairobi, Kenya, specializing in Afro-House, Amapiano, EDM, and House music. His performances blend strong technical skill, exceptional crowd control, and a distinct personal style, transforming every stage into an immersive experience.

Sukuma Wiki is a sonic curator and experimental DJ whose sets weave together rhythms, textures, and stories from Africa and its global diasporas. Drawing from genres such as Amapiano, Gqom, Afro House, Kuduro, Singeli, Coupé-Décalé, Highlife, Afrobeats, Batida and Baile Funk, she creates immersive journeys that bridge tradition, innovation, and the dance floor.

Having performed across multiple countries on the African continent, Sukuma Wiki has built a reputation for thoughtful curation, adventurous programming, and an ability to bring diverse audiences together through sound. In addition to her sonic practice, Sukuma Wiki is a visual artist, dabbling in traditional art mediums, creative direction, art direction and film.
